All Foreign CPLs need conversion into Indian DGCA license, involving additional flying on Single/Multi engine aircraft, passing of 3-4 written exams and Medical Exams,, in effect duplicating many exams and flying exercises. These also involve additional costs and time of upto 6 months or more.
The cost of training abroad is very expensive and is subject to Forex fluctuations. These courses are not eligible for education loans from banks. You also save on huge travel, stay, food and transportation costs over two years and elaborate Visa formalities. Especially under the current Health crisis situation it has become very risky and even more time consuming to travel abroad.
However at APFT we issue a fully endorsed CPL/ME/IR (Commercial Pilot Licence/Multi Engine/Instrument Rated) License. With this you can join any airline directly without any additional exams or license conversation requirements. (Our CPL is an ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) License and it is convertible into any of the 162 ICAO signatory countries including EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency) and FAA (Federal Aviation Authority of United States of America).
